Using Yoga to Be More Successful

Being successful and feeling good go hand in hand.
In order to be successful in everything that you do, from work to private live, it is important to be in good health, both physically and mentally.
Yoga is the optimal way to reach mental and physical health.
Yoga can be a good exercise, especially the power yoga forms like Asthanga yoga. This method of yoga involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive series of postures-a process producing intense internal heat and a profuse, purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs.
Next to the physical effect, yoga also has a great effect on the mental health.
Being more aware of your body and the state your body is in, is a great indicator of your mental health. Also the clearing of your head and putting the mind at ease will fuel your battery.
What does Yoga mean for me?
For me it is part of my physical exercise next to Pilates and running. I use my yoga practice to stay healthy. It gives me indications before even realizing it when I need to take a step back and take some time for myself. Every week it fuels my battery to keep up my hectic life style. Yoga empowers me to be more successful.
Is yoga something for you?
You don't need to be as flexible as a ballet dancer to have a good workout.
You don't need to work on your spirituality to perform yoga.
You don't need to be a vegetarian or never drink alcohol again to be a true Yogi.
I would suggest to just give it a try. Feel if it works for you.
